Drake’s POV

I was seated in my office trying to calculate the profit margin we had had last week when someone knocked my office door. I was too busy and did not want to invite the person in but the knock persisted. I was going to punish that person. Didn’t they know, that if someone refused to let you in then you were supposed to leave because they did not want to talk to you?

“Come in.” I said before stretching my arms to eradicate the exhaustion I was feeling.

The door opened slowly to reveal the front desk manager in her skirt suit. I was angry at her for interrupting my work.

“What is it that you want that cannot wait until I am done? Have you forgotten about my rule?” I asked. “And you better have a good explanation.” I hated being interrupted because I had specific time allocated to specific things.
