Levi’s P.O.V

Renee thought that she was invisible.

She thought that the reason why we hadn’t taunted her was because we didn’t notice her.

What she didn’t know was that we were giving her time to grieve and most importantly, what she didn’t know was that predators wait for the perfect time to catch their prey.

How in the world was I supposed to resist the mate bond when she was everywhere, taking total control of my senses?

Like a prey ready to pounce on its predator, I gripped her by the arm, my hands pressing against her mouth in a bid to suppress the screams that were about to escape her lips.

As soon as the door slammed shut, my hands left her mouth and her chest heaved as she sniffed and raised a brow. “Levi?”

A coy smile crossed my face as I plopped on the seat behind me, twirling the painting brush in my hands as my eyes swept down her body.

“I guess that you had fun hiding, princess?”

She scrunched her nose and attempted to find the door by using her stick. “I have…….” H
