Chapter 25

Clara knows her way around the office. It wasn't a very big company anyway. She would only move through that conference room to know if they were having a meeting.

Unfortunately, no one was there, as she contemplated going back to the place she was asked to sit or keep walking around, she then bumped into someone.

“Mr. Henry Brown?”

Henry Brown appeared indifferent.

“And?”

Clara quickly recalled that she was meant to appear so formal.

“I’m Clara Roberts and I am here for the interview by noon.”

“Oh, come with me,” Henry replied coldly.

Clara didn't know what the problem was, Henry was acting weird and she couldn't just point out what the problem was.

Clara followed him into his office. He was going to interview her by himself. But she didn't even apply for a job before the message was sent so why does he act like he doesn't know what he was doing?
