Clara began to tap on her screen multiple times and robbed her eyes but the apology was really there, she wasn't seeing things.

She phoned Sophia back immediately and she confirmed that the person had posted an apology.

She didn't know if that was good or bad news. What if the Peters family finally gets convinced that she is the one and that she has taken it down to post an apology?

She decided to go look for Alex in his room. “See, the person has taken the post down and apologized. Do you see this?”

“Yes, I did.” Alex’s reply was cold. When they posted the negative news, everyone wanted to crucify her, now that is being rectified, they all acted nonchalantly.

“Have you seen Annie?” Clara asked and Alex told her that he hadn't.

She wondered where she was and left the room to look for her.

Alex smiled to himself. It must have felt good to see Clara happy again, but he didn't show it.
