Chapter 35: Reluctant to Look Away

Suddenly, a sharp pain spread from her lips, and instinctively, she wanted to pull away. But her lower lip was held by him, and any movement only made it hurt more.

She tried to push him away, but as soon as her hands went up, he skillfully pinned them behind her.

"Asher," she called his name, her eyes wide open, staring at him.
