Chapter Eleven

Kimmie and Bella stepped out of the house, with Bella driving the car. The stereo in the car was booming with “Alicia Keys” “We are here”, while the two women sang along. Bella turned to Kimmie asking for the schedule of the day.

Pending the time Kimmie would get an actual job, Bella hired her to act as her personal assistant, using her expertise.

“You will be meeting with the contractors to finalize everything about the contract, and then we would head to see mom and…” Kimmie paused

“And what, Kimmie? Bella inquired, knowing what she was about to say next.

“To the club, but I am not sure if I want to get to the club today.” Kimmie replied, “Why not?” Bella inquired, “I am not feeling up to it.” She said.
