LINA ROYALE

I heard loud bangs, and screams. I had no idea what was going on. These days, there seemed to be no shortage of drama. I pulled my cloth over my body, and wore my flip-flops this time.

‘Gabriel, are you there?’ I mind linked.

I waited for a while, pulling my hair up. The damn hair was too voluminous despite my age, and I sometimes had the urge to cut the whole thing off, but I maintained my cool.

‘Gabriel?’ I tried once more, just in time to hear my son screaming and literally threatening to pull the house down.

I rolled my eyes at the drama he was currently doing. He would have to suck up his nonsense by the time I went down to him. I don’t understand how he couldn’t control his emotions. If he couldn’t live without her, then why did he have to let her go. It didn’t make any sense.

‘Queen mother,’ Gabriel said at last in his husky voice. ‘I’m sorry I couldn’t respond on time. Alpha Gunnolf Royale gave us the assignment of washing over Leonie’s window,” he explained.
