LEONIE

Tina stood by the door glaring at us.

“What is going on here?” She screamed at us.

Sara stepped forward, and she had the decency to look like she was sad about what was happening. I frowned at the whole thing, and tried to maintain my cool but it was proving so difficult.

“Miss Tina, it’s al her fault. She was reckless while mopping and she kicked the whole bucket down, spilling dirty water everywhere. When I tried to tell her about it, she got angry,” she lied smoothly.

I stared at her, stunned. I couldn’t really believe that she had the decency to say such an expensive lie? I just couldn’t get it.

“That’s not true,” I negated.

Tina looked at me, and I swallowed hard. She had definitely changed and wasn’t the woman who had been so kind to me earlier. I had no idea what to think.

“I don’t care about the truth, all I know is that this mess is proof that you were the orchestrator of all that is going on now. So, that is definitely enough for me.”

I swallowed hard. “No, please.”
