Chapter 13: Mandarin Oranges

As Circe went back inside to join the other royals, I stayed on the back porch. Callie and Caleb joined me, not sure whether to question me or not. I wasn’t particularly in the mood for it, I wanted this day to be over, I wanted everything to go back to normal, I wanted my family back in one piece. Was being the Celestite wolf something my family was really blessed with because it was really feeling like a curse.

“Give me space guys,” I said to Callie and Caleb. They looked at each other then silently walked inside, I’d be out here on the porch by myself. I leaned against the railing, looking up at the moon, pondering everything I’d learned today about my mother, my brother, the accident.
