Chapter 25: Was he faking it?

Lucy's pov;

Every day in the mansion made me feel rejuvenated.

I am really enjoying this life that was by far away from my toxic step family who just stole from me.

I was helping the kids to do their homework in Joseph's room.

I have told Danny that he shouldn't go into Joseph's room everyday, but he didn't listen to me because Joseph always asks him to come in and Desmond doesn't mind.

Joseph was curious about everything, so it wasn't hard for me to guide him on what to do.

Joseph is really a sweet kid, I don't know why all the other nannies he had got fired.

After helping him with his homework he thanked me.

"You are really great Miss Lucy, thank you, the other nanny was always looking at Daddy whenever I was asking her a question,she never paid attention to me." He informed me.

"Oh, I guess you didn't like her?" I asked him and he shook his head.

"I didn't like her, but I like Miss Lucy." Joseph told me happily as he continued doing his homework.
