“He is still texting you.” Jaiya informed.

I didn’t know where to go to when I left Atlas’s place. And the cab driver had looked pissed when he kept asking for my destination and I told him to keep driving around the block. I didn’t tell him that exactly.

I may not have been in the right frame of mind, but I knew if I said that, he would throw me out of the car.

I kept directing him to take random turns. When he realised we kept driving around the same neighbourhood. He told me to stop paying games as he stepped the a car. I didn’t get down from the car and more tears rolled down my cheeks.

Something in my face or eyes might have let him realise I wasn’t faking the tears but he tried to calm me down. When I stopped the tears from falling, he asked if there was anywhere he could take me. He needed to get back to work.

I had mouthed off the first thing that came to my mind. It ended up being Jaiya’s apartment. It just subconsciously came to me and I blurted it out without thinking.
