121. Ellen's Thoughts

Elysia's pov

I felt a sense of relief wash over me as Macy walked into the hospital room. I embraced her, grateful for her presence.

"Macy, it's so good to see you," I said, my voice filled with warmth.

Macy hugged me back tightly. "It's good to see you too, Elysia," she said. "I heard Damon was here. Is he still around?"

I pulled away from Macy, a worried look on my face. "He had to leave in a hurry," I said. "Do you know why?"

Macy shook her head. "He said something about work," she said, her voice tinged with concern. "But he seemed pretty agitated when he got the call."

I frowned, wondering what could have happened to make Damon so upset. "Did he say anything else?"

Macy hesitated for a moment before speaking. "He called Ellen too," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
