Damon's pov

As I sat across from Hector in the crowded café, I couldn't help but feel a sense of annoyance at his presence. It wasn't that I feared him or even disliked him, it was simply that I found his constant meddling to be a nuisance. Despite our tumultuous history, I had hoped that he would have moved on from his obsession with taking everything from me.

However, as he began to speak, I knew that my hopes had been in vain. Hector claimed that my father had lied to me and that he was indeed interested in taking over the transportation company, along with the casino. I was initially taken aback by this news, as I had always thought my father had no interest in the casino. But as I thought more about it, I realized that Hector may have been bluffing.

"Why should I believe you?" I asked, eyeing him skeptically.

Hector simply smiled in response, a sly look on his face that made me even more suspicious. I wondered what he was hiding, what cards he was holding close to his chest.
