The Confrontation

I woke up to the worried faces of my father and the doctor as I frowned and sat up on the desk I had been placed on.

“What happened?” I asked, massaging my temples.

My father heaved a sigh of relief and attempted to hug me. I gave him a scathing gaze and he seemed to realize what he had been about to do.

“Sorry, I'm just glad you didn't die,” he smiled at me sheepishly.

My eyes narrowed into slits as my gaze hardened, “Die? What is that supposed to mean?”

My father shrugged and the doctor seemed reluctant to speak. I sighed and stood up from the table grabbing my shirt. They had stripped me of my shirt and Tuxedo when I woke up.

“Where’s Ivan? Since nobody wants to tell me what the hell is going on I'm sure he can tell me,” I hissed in disbelief.

“Son, calm down. You fainted and there's a chance you might pass out again,” my father finally spoke.

I scoffed at him, “I don't have fainting spells, Dad. I'm a strong Alpha male, not a puny weakling.”
