50. Wasted Opportunity

I walk inside the club and look for Olivia.

I told my brother a tiny little fib. The part about going to the club was true, but the part where I said I was meeting friends wasn't true. I didn't have a large group of friends. The less I hung out with people, the better it was for my career.

I wanted to go to the club for one reason only. To stalk my beloved Olivia, of course.

I knew she would be there, dancing the night away like she always did on Friday nights.

It was always at the same club. Once in a while, she'd visit other clubs, but it was guaranteed that she would be here on Friday nights, which made it easier for me to catch my little birdie.

I didn't have to look too hard as I spotted her right in the middle of the dance floor, dancing with some tall, skinny, frat boy-looking jerk. Where does she find these idiots? I rolled my eyes and approached them.
