Chapter 30:

While trying to get some sleep Layla's mind took her to the first time she met Jake. He was such a charming young man that took her breath at first sight.

She missed everything about him, his smell, his aura, his attention to detail, his care and affection. But it broke her heart how things had turned out between them.

She tried fighting the thought on the first time Fey met her but she was in it already.

“I don’t think he is a good guy,” she could hear Fey say to her the very first day she met him.

“How can you say such a thing about someone you are meeting for the first time, he is a nice guy,” she replied.

“They are all nice at first, I don’t have to know him for a very long time to know the kind of person he is. The fragrance of his perfume tells it all, who uses this kind of perfume if not a player?"

“Fey you can't judge someone by this little thing. How can you judge someone by the perfume they use? You don’t seem to amaze me, Fey with your suspicion, not every
