I had a bad feeling about something, but I just didn't know what. Papa said I have a really strong instinct; but what exactly could be wrong?

I sighed, trying to put the thoughts behind me as I prepared myself for the appointment with the stylist.

First, when Devin had told me about the ball and the escort that Dice had hired, I was just... sad. But as time progressed, the sadness mixed with anger. He hadn't still said a word about the ball to me, and if Devin hadn't told me about it, I would probably never know about it.

Today, my hair was in a tight ponytail, and I wore a black sleeveless fitted crop-top with blue joggers. A flannel shirt was right in hand, also—just in case.

Ah, and my glasses. I took this one everywhere.

After looking at the mirror one last time, I grabbed four lollipops for the road, stuffed them into my black purse and headed out.
