166: Gave Birth

I tilted my neck from the hospital bed I was on to the baby's bed my baby was lying on, kicking his legs and sucking his tongue, and a smile forced its way across my lips.

"Nurse!" I yelled.

Immediately, the nurse who was assigned to me rushed in. "You called me, ma'am?" she asked, maintaining an honest look.

"Yes. Please get this off me. I want to breastfeed my baby," I demanded.

"Consider it done, ma'am," she responded, dropping the medical tools she was holding on the nearby desk.

She paused the drip I was taking and then gently removed the needle syringe from my vein.

Without even being told, she kindly carried my baby from the bed and handed him to me.

"I should leave now, Ma. In case you need my presence again, I'm close by," she stated and left.
