He closed the lid of the pot and turned to me with a smile, his hands brushed over mine slightly as he moved back a little. Even after speaking to his brother, Arthur came back with a smile on his face which I suspected was to avoid me asking questions.

My hands curled around the cold counter, locking and unlocking as I tried to think of another thing to ask him about.

“So how long do we have to wait before it's ready?” I asked and he crossed his hands over his chest and then started at the pan.
