Dani POV

“No, its not.” It was as though he could read me like a piece of paper.

“Then what it is? You sure didn’t seem comfortable with the fact that Ava wanted me to feed her.” He said softly, there was nothing i could say to defend myself, he was right. Was i upset?

“Dani, do you want to talk to me or you want to leave this till later?”

I sighed and rubbed the sides of my arms as i stared at my feet, warm fingers gently pushed my face up to stare at his face.

“I just- its fine. I’m just over thinking things.” i replied diverting from my answer. Arthur stared at me for a while an then he sighed.

“Look, how about you get to ask me anythign you want about myself and i answer.” My eyes widened.

“Really? You would answer anything i ask you?” I asked as if he didnt say so.

“Yes, if its going to get you relax then why not.”
