Abducted

Daphne’s POV

I sat frozen in my car until it hit me once again that I had just sighted a rogue and right in front of me, he had escaped.

Immediately I ran to where I had sighed the rogue but saw nothing. My curiosity led me to search further for him, but it was almost as though he had vanished into thin air and worse still, no scent at all to trail.

Rather than going to check out the hut the triplets had chosen as their hideout as planned, I returned to the house.

Dad had been too busy these days, I had busied myself in finding ways in ending those two.

It was when Dad had sent guards to follow me everywhere I went, that was when I felt Dad's fear. I wasn’t even allowed to leave anywhere without giving those guards, clouding my space and peace of mind.

If I were to drop a pen, they would immediately pick it up and honestly, all those acts did nothing but make me feel like a child once again.
