“What was that!” Alpha Ryder mocked, causing Rex to grit his teeth in anger while his eyes kept on flashing towards the door in hopes that something would happen…maybe someone would come.

He didn't understand why, but he felt frozen in his presence and just couldn’t move, all he could do was stare in contempt at the man his brothers had gone out to look for.

“When I put Ray and Rory always before you, it would seem as though I were playing favorite, but here you are throwing the knife like a kid of five”.

“Aren’t you going to do anything?” Alpha Ryder teased daring Rex.

“My ears have it that you and brothers have been trying to find your beloved father, so here I am, surrendering to you, but as expected, you are unable to do anything”.
