Chapter 25: If You Know Her

“Emily,” said her secetary.

“Yes?”

“It’s about nine o’clock in the evening. I think you should go ahead and go home to rest.”

“Wow, is it that late already?”

“Yes.”

“Alright,” said Emily. She got up and got her purse out of the drawer. She turned off the lights and walked out of her office.

When she got down the elevator and was about to exit the main building’s entrance she noticed Joshua.

Joshua was waiting for her at the front entrance. He seemed to be pacing around the reception’s desk.

Emily frowned as to why he was still there. As she got closer she noticed that he was looking rather anxious. This is the first time she have ever seeen him so nervous.

Knowing Joshua before, he was not the patient man to wait upon her. He is more of the man who would blew up the moment he have to wait any longer.
