Chapter Thirty-One

Liam’s phone woke me, vibrating repeatedly on his bedside table.

“Who in the hell is blowing your phone up at this time of night?” I shoved my hands into Liam’s shoulder to wake him up. “Liam get up.”

After a couple harder shakes, he mumbled, “Hmm? What?” Ugh, really. How was he able to sleep through that?

“Your phone. Someone has been calling you non-stop.”

I miss the days when he didn’t sleep. Now that he was no longer full vampire, he needed to sleep but not as much as me. He could survive off two hours, every couple of days. The bed shook as he rolled over on the mattress to grab his phone from the table.
