SARAH

There I was in my office, wondering how on earth I was to spend the rest of my day locked In here. And was mad at the fact that of all days to be picture day it had to be today.

A vein frowned in my temple when the sound of a knock on my door caused a distraction cutting me off from my little battle in the head over nothing.

“Come in!!” I yelled hoping to see whoever it was.

And just then, Kathryn walked in with a smile creased on her face holding on to a pile of notebooks and a mug that said I love Mum.

“I love mum?” I spelled out with my brows creased in confusion as I watched her walk in.

“Do you have a problem with that?” She teased and then giggled afterward with her eyes locked on mine.

“None that I can remember,” I responded.

“Better,” She said and then settled in the chair right in front of me. I released a small breath and smiled at Kathryn whose eyebrows popped the very minute our eyes met.
