“You're just in time honey,” Robyn said with a smile creased on his face as I pulled away softly from the hug smiling nervously at him. Praying silently in my head that his son likes me.

But then the familiar smell of lavender from someone in the room wafted over me as I took in the view of a figure that stood afar off.

“Ryan?” I questioned myself the very minute I tilted my head toward the young man in front of us.

He was wearing his usual ensemble of black trench coats whenever he had to be out with the boys. But here he was, right in front of me.
