“They are here to speak with you,” My father said with a tone that made it quite obvious that he’d heard as well.

“Speak to me?” I asked.

“I have to get to school, I've got no time for any of this,” I said glaring at them, and headed for the door but then was cut off midway when he had me pushed back to the couch.

“Sit your ass down,” My father growled.
