“Peter?” I called out with a smile as we both stood in front of my office door.

Peter had been away from town for a while now. Leaving his best friends Ryan and Tom in the company of Logan.

I could tell from the look on his face that something was up and I had wanted to ask.

But then it suddenly felt as though I wasn't in the position to ask.

“Good day ma’am,” He greeted me as I let him come into my office.

He settled into the chair in front of my desk, with a look so obvious that he wasn't in his best mood.

“What can I help you with?” I asked leaning forward on the desk with my hands laced together.

“I'm here to fill out the forms for a transfer,” He said.

The minute he said that I knew exactly what had happened and why he had the look on his face.

“Transfer?” I asked with an arched brow staring at him.

“Are you leaving?” I asked with my voice lowered and laced with so much concern as I spoke.
