The Furious Percival

This was nothing like what Evadne had expected. She was getting anxious, wondering why Percival hadn't returned yet. At the same time, she wished she could just shove Eulalia down the stairs.

Pregnant women are fragile; a fall could lead to severe bleeding, maybe even two deaths.

This malicious thought grew heavier in her heart.

Just then, the sound of a car engine pulling up outside broke the silence. Eulalia looked puzzled. "Why is Percival back so early today?"

If he's back, she wouldn't be able to visit the orphanage. A sense of loss filled her, along with a creeping unease.

But she was quick to accept reality. Just as she was about to turn back to her room, ignoring Evadne, her wrist was suddenly grabbed.

Eulalia turned to see Evadne glaring at her, her eyes as dark as a venomous snake's.

"Evadne, what's your deal?" Eulalia had been burned by Evadne before. Despite her timid appearance, who knows what schemes she's cooking up?
