Incessant nightmares

Sofia's POV

“Nana?” I called as I saw her step in with a wide smile on her face. I was quick to rush towards her.

“Hello, my dear,” She said to me as she hugged me firmly

“Nana…” and that minute, as if a dam broke, I burst into tears. Nana's hold on me righted as she caressed my back,

“Shiiiiii” she kept coaxing me.

“Let's sit first, then you can tell me all that happened,” she said, and I nodded. The moment I sat down on the bed, I began to explain to her all that happened. I didn't do anything wrong, and I wanted someone to hear me out. I was glad that Nana had come just in time because I really needed an ear.

“I swear Nana, I'll never do something that would hurt him, not when he is helping me here”

Nana kept nodding at me, and I sighed, knowing that she believed me. Nana understands me better because she has known me for a long time now.
