CHAPTER 43: The Message, the Idea.

Erica sat on her bed with her book in her hand and stared restlessly at the wall of her bedroom, lost in thought.

She bit her lips as she thought about what happened yesterday at the club. Professor Sebastian had come like a knight with shining armor to save her, only to reject her again.

She shook her head as she thought about it. Her heart was broken by his words and actions, but she knew that there was nothing she could do about it.

He was her professor, and there was no way that they could be together.

As she thought about it, she realized that she didn’t just want to be with him because he was attractive and charming.

She actually cared about him as a person. She felt like they had a connection, and she knew that he felt it too. But that didn’t matter, because the reality was that they couldn’t be together.

She felt a wave of sadness wash over her. She didn’t know what to do about these feelings.

While she was still deep in thought, Lisa came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towe
