CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

"So, am I alive, because Nate turned out to be human?" She asked curiously

Jake didn't want to tell Claire that it was probably too early to tell whether or not Nate was actually human or werewolf. Usually, they transform for the first time when they turned thirteen or fourteen years old, like puberty stage. This is known as the Awakening; a second biological transformation where his ability to shape shift will manifest. But for now, he wasn't entirely sure, because, he couldn't sense or feel anything out of the ordinary for Nate.. just his growing affection for the kid...his kid!

"Yes Claire...it would seem so" Jake replied.

Claire sighed and nodded her head...she was once again relieved, that Nate was really Human.!

"So what now Jake..?" She held his gaze, watching his reaction.

"Before that..!" She suddenly remembered

"How the hell did you know where to find me...find us?!"

Jake smiled.
