I step out of the shower and wrap a towel around my waist. I think back to the meeting earlier. Who knew my kitten could swear like that? I was surprised when I heard those words come from her pretty little mouth. I know Nate was thinking the same thing. We had never heard her swear before, and I was not sure if I liked it or not. It was funny watching her interact with the three of them. It was like watching siblings fight. I could see the irritation in Nate’s eyes when Raven kept calling her princess. Raven explained that she is a princess and that it is not a sweet little nickname. I think Nate understands that Raven’s definition of the word princess and his definition of princess are two different things when it comes to Emerald. I can feel her eyes on me as I walk out of the bathroom. I let a smirk slide across my face.

“See something you like, princess?” Nate asks her.

“I see something I like a lot.” She replies.
