Chapter Fifty Eight

I believed I had won. I’d defeated my worst enemy since Raphael, and I was already plotting out way to get rid of my Aurora and the abomination growing in her stomach. This time, I definitely wouldn’t miss.

The pack might speculate about Klaus’s death, some might even suggest poison, and Aurora might try to accuse me of poisoning her husband.

But without evidence, it’s all rumors, speculation, and suspicions. Soon enough, it would all blow over and I would go back to being the undisputed Alpha of the pack.

Although I wished that Klaus had reached home and given the poisoned wine to his despicable wife, I knew he couldn’t have gotten that far before he collapsed and the poison did its work.

Wolfsbane poison is as fast as it is terrible, and a small sip, such like the one that Klaus consumed the day before, was enough to kill even the strongest werewolf.

There was no way he would have made it to Aurora. Which meant that it was up to me to kill Aurora myself. But I’ll need to
