Chapter Fifty Seven

Aurora PoV

When Klaus told me Axel had tried to poison him, I was not entirely shocked that Axel would pull a stunt like that. In fact, a small part of me was excited that he did.

Klaus had an unhealthy fascination towards Axel. He almost worshipped the terrible Alpha as a god. No matter how much I tried to warn him about trusting a treacherous man like Axel, he never listened. He thought it was woman talk.

But Axel had gladly proved me right. Now Klaus knows that he was dealing with the devil, and needed to treat Axel like an actual devil. That way, his hesitation to fight Axel to the death was dissolved. Now the real challenge was to make Klaus believe he can win.

“You doubt your strength, Klaus,” I smiled gently, cupping his lean cheeks in my arm, “I have a very important news to tell you. Perhaps, it would be the motivation you need.”
