“I knew I was going to see you the moment I come here.” the doctor said after stepping into Fred’s ward.

Eleanor gave a weak smile. “I left an hour ago to freshen up but I'm back.” She replied and cleared her throat loudly.

The doctor nodded and proceeded to examine Fred.

“I'm sorry I yelled at you,” she said and stood up. She moved closer to the doctor and stood beside himwith her head lowered.

The doctor turned to Eleanor with a chuckle. “It wasn't you yelling. It was your frustrations looking for a spot to come out and besides, I'm used to seeing such outbursts.”

The doctor continued checking Fred’s vitals.

“Do you know that one time a patient relative threw a chair at me?” He asked Eleanor after taking off his stethoscope.

Eleanor couldn't hold back her laughter. “Are you kidding me?”

“Of course. Trust me when I tell you that your rants earlier were just the tip of the iceberg because I have seen worse.” the doctor maintained.

Eleanor exhaled and folded her arms across her chest.
