Chapter Twenty-Five

Alpha Davon's POV

I had yet another meeting with the elders in a few minutes and I knew exactly what they were about to talk about.

I didn't want any part of that as I felt it wasn't the time for it, even if I knew it was necessary. Everything that happened around me seemed to suggest that I was right to stall for a bit.

I recalled what happened between Princess Alina and me and how I couldn't get myself to mark her despite my willingness to do that and the fact that she was always in the right position for me to do so.

The sex was great. It was magnificent. Better than any sex that I had ever had with the many maidens in the Pack who did well to warm the bed of their Alpha; a rare privilege that they were surely grateful for.

The Princess was different. I felt myself longing to have more of her even as we got intimate. She was quite skilled too, controlling the rhythm from time to time and ensuring that I was pleasured all through; so much that I felt a bit bad w
