Princess Alina's POV

Mandy returned with the guard the previous night after I had sent them away to my mother so that she could tell me exactly what I needed to do. She did just that, as expected. My mother was a well of knowledge that I could have never done without.

One of the things she asked me to do was to keep a close eye on Alpha Davon and everyone around him. "Friends and foes are always around us and they might be the people that we least expected," she asked Mandy to tell me in her own words and I knew just what to do.
