Chapter 50: Place your mark on me

Back in the mansion, Diana sat in the midst of her mates, her head leaning against Alden's shoulder.

On the other couch was Alpha Alaric, Luna Catherine and Freya.

The atmosphere was silent and only the ticking of the clock could be heard. In the distance, thunder rumbled in the sky and the clouds brightened occasionally with lightning flashes.

Alpha Alaric then cleared his throat and stared at his daughter.

"Diana," he began. "I just want you to know this. Your mother and I, we never meant you any harm my keeping the truth from you."
