ANGEL

Kalen called me to see if I was free. Apparently, she desperately needed my help with something. It sounded urgent, so I told her to come over at any point.

I was playing with Rose when I heard my name being called. I got up and held my hand out for Rose.

Sol’s mark started heating up when I got closer to Kalen and Maddox. I could see an aura around them that clearly denoted darkness.

“Who is this cutie?” Kalen asked as she crouched down in font of Rose, who shyly blushed.

“This is my cousin’s daughter, Rose. They just moved to the pack so that Anthony can help train me. He ended up finding his mate here too. Okay, little one. Let’s get back to Daddy. I think he’s with my mates.”

Kalen placed a kiss to the top of Rose’s head, causing her to giggle. Then I grabbed her hand in mine and swung our arms as we walked.

I had so many damn questions that would have to wait to be asked until we were alone.
