"What are you doing here?" Jensen asked, his gaze boring holes into Tallie who was literally struggling with her emotions. This was the first time she was seeing him in months. She was feeling both immense relief and happiness. She couldn't be bothered by the coldness of his expression.

Seven days had passed since Adelynn's unpleasant encounter with her exboyfriend. She had been anxious and apprehensive, knowing that Jensen was still out there. Within those seven days, Adelynn had been feeling a little ill. At first, she had believed it to be as a result of how stressed she'd been.
