Aron pov

It took time to find the trace at some parts. It's clear that the one who is helping her knows these woods and how to mask their trace.

I have never come across a rogue before who knows this, it makes me wonder who it is.

"Aron, there is a house over here!" Bryan mind links when my wolf is quick to turn around and run over to where he is.

Reaching the tree line I see a clearing where a smaller house is standing, behind it there are some buildings that look to be more houses, but they aren't completed yet. Bryan stands by the tree line and looks right at the house when I stop beside him.

"What do you think about it?" Bryan mind links while my wolf is sniffing in the air for any trace. It's here they went, and a small trace of her scent lingers on the ground.

"They have been here, let's search it closer." I mind link him before we head over to the house, trying not to make any sound while we approach the house from the side and walk closer to the porch.

Her scent gets a bit stro
