I listened patiently to what Olivia had to say, and my heart ached all along. I wished I could stand up for her at that moment and do anything to make sure they didn't take her away from us, but I was helpless.

For the first time in my life, being an Alpha only made me weaker, and I hated myself for it. I watched her leave with the guards, and with her back alone, I knew she was heartbroken, sad, and shattered.

Seeing that she was gone, our fathers let out a deep breath and turned to face us. “Now that she is gone…” Father Darin was trying to say something, but I wasn't in the mood to listen to anything he had to say as I teleported away, leaving them to say whatever they planned to speak to Theo.
