OLIVIA'S POV

I was taken to the new cell; the journey was far, so far, that I was already dozing off inside the truck when a guard hit my back abruptly, waking me up.

I looked at him and frowned, “What are you doing? I was just trying to sleep for a bit,” I told him.

Who knew what would happen in the cell, or if I would ever be able to sleep as much as I wanted anymore? I only wanted to sleep for a second, but he had to do that?

He scowled, “You think someone like you deserves a rest? You are a criminal, so behave like one!” The guard yelled at me.

I shook my head and laughed, “A criminal? What do you mean? I did something bad, and I'm already paying for that. Do you need me to tell you that you don't have the right to act this way toward me?” I questioned him angrily.

I've heard enough, and I could no longer keep quiet about it. It had gotten to my neck, and there was nothing else I could do to avoid the painful experience, so why must I face humiliation from the guards again?
