Chapter 10 Invitation

I sat on the edge of my bed, clearly where Xander had placed me. My phone rang once again, making me wince.

Making dread settle in my stomach, I couldn’t believe the audacity of this shameless woman. My heart sank thinking about the new possible ways she had thought to make my life hell.

Emma flashed on my phone and instead of picking it up, I thought of thrashing the phone on my wall.
