Chapter Twenty Eight

"Why did you let her leave?!" Darina yelled at Anne. "Just one simple thing I asked you to do but you failed!"

"I didn't know when she left and even if I did, what would I have done to make her stay?" Anne retorted.

Darina grunted in frustration. If you wanted to get a job done and done well, you had to do it yourself.

"She's coming back this afternoon. You'll see her then." Anne told her.

"I hope for your sake that she doesn't change her mind Anne or else what I did to your cousin will be like a caress compared to what I'll do to you." Darina threatened her.

"There's no need for threats." Anne snapped.

Darina huffed and stormed out of their room slamming the door hard behind her.

"Nut job." Anne hissed. "Get rid of Saira for me and when you go to jail... Ethan will be mine. All mine." She grinned evilly.
