As they rested in the hidden cave, Scarlette couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched. "Gabriel, I have a bad feeling about this," she said, looking at him with concern.

"I know, my love. But we have to keep moving. We'll be safe soon," he reassured her, holding her hand tightly.

They left the cave and walked deeper into the woods. Suddenly, Scarlette heard a loud rustling in the bushes, followed by a loud scream. She turned to see Gabriel a few feet away, holding a stake in his hand and looking at her blankly.

"Gabriel, what have you done?" she cried out, tears streaming down her face.

He looked at her in confusion. "What are you talking about? I didn't do anything. I heard a scream and went to check it out," he said, dropping the stake to the ground.

Scarlette walked over to the bushes, her heart racing. She saw a figure lying on the ground, blood pooling around them. She knelt down and turned the figure over, only to see that it was Jackson.

"He's...he's dead," sh
