"So you're not going to tell me what happened at your mansion?" Scarlette asked Gabriel halfway to the French Quarter in his Camero, "OUR mansion luv" She frowned at him not understanding what that had to do with the price of eggs so continued to stare at him until he answered her question.

"Well, I was 'told' to reject you and seek a vampire I can mate with." He said squirming in the driver's seat clearly very uncomfortable with the whole conversation. "You can choose who you mark?" Scarlette asked perplexed, "I can but I chose to exercise patience and wait for the one who was made for me."
