Missing piece of the story

"Alpha," a middle-aged woman wearing a floral maxi dress with a teal colored cardigan on the top came out to greet Alpha Orion. Her head was low while greeting in a soft voice as a bunch of children surrounded Alpha in no time.

"How are you, Lenna?"

"I am fine, thank you," her head was still in the same position as she answered.

Who were these children?

I watched the children of different age groups greet Alpha Orion with huge smiles on their faces. Alpha Orion seemed to be lost in his own world as well around them while I stood awkwardly watching them like a creep feeling out of place.

"Children, let Alpha enter the house first," the lady said softly but there was an authority in her voice. All the children at once listened to her. The toddler who hugged the Alpha did not leave his hand and started pulling him with all his strength saying something about showing him his new art.
