Beau

Bri wore the long sleeve black dress she had arrived in, which now hugged her curves like a glove, with a pair of leggings we had gotten her, and her boots. She had showered, her hair up high, with the lengths woven into some fancy braid. She had rounded the boys up and dragged out most of the boxes Zoey had sent.

Boxes and boxes of brand new twinkling white lights were wrapped around tree trunks and criss crossed above our heads, Igniting the heart of the island in a merry glow. Another held a fake 7 foot tree the boys soon erected and began wrapping it in colored lights before Bri insisted she had to expertly tuck the red and silver garland perfectly into the tree, having to be hoisted on my broad shoulders to reach the top.

Music played from the radio. Hamburgers and hotdogs cooked on the grill while Bri walked the boys through cajun dances her father must have taught her, because I learned them from my mama. She even dragged Bas, who’s chip on his shoulder had seemed to have

Well, I'm glad she finally to gets to celebrate a somewhat normal Christmas with Wyatt, Beau and the boys. And I feel like we're drawing closer to Wyatt and Beau having a Bri sandwich. ;) I wonder what it is that she's searching for exactly...what she thinks might come tomorrow?!?
